'Rushes' is a brilliant and hypnotic new work for seven bassoons by American composer, and Bang on a Can co-founder Michael Gordon. 'Timber', Gordon's percussion work for six amplified 2-by-4 boards written for Mantra Percussion, stunned listeners when it was performed in Vancouver in 2013. With Gordon's 'Rushes', the Rushes Ensemble promise to deliver yet another unforgettable sonic experience.
