Description
Join Alex Rogers from Cheeseworks as he covers the history of cheese, the important cheese making regions of the world, and different milk types and styles and how they differ in production, storage, and flavor. Taste representatives from all styles and discuss practical uses and pairing ideas.

Alex Rogers has been working with cheese almost all of his adult life.  His career path was forged working part time in the deli at Wild Oats while attending college in the Midwest, quickly becoming the store's resident cheese expert.  After moving to San Francisco in 2003 he briefly managed the now closed Cooper's before taking a sales position at Cheeseworks, one of the leading importers and distributors of cheese and specialty foods.  He has led cheese classes and staff trainings and currently works with some of the top bay area restaurants selecting their cheese menu.
