Intermediate: Hub Maintenance
Hubs make your bike go round, quite literally. Performing a regular hub service every year will prevent unhappy hubs (i.e. dried out, slow, clanky) and keep your bike ready to roll.
In this two-evening intermediate level class, you will be taking apart and servicing both loose bearing hubs, and sealed bearing hubs. We'll show you what's going on inside there, and how to maintain them.
NB: Please note that you'll be learning on LBK's workshop hubs, not your own. You just don't know what problems will be encountered working on used hubs, and it's better to learn on a system without fault first. At the end of day 2 you will be able to work on your own hubs.
Class will take place on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 June, from 6 - 9pm. Bottomless coffee and tea will be provided.
Only 4 spots available, get in there!
(N.B. If you sign up for a class and then can't make it, please let us know 48 hours in advance to get a refund. We cannot give a refund after this period. We also cannot transfer your ticket to a different date. Our classes fill up quickly and spots are highly prized, so if you can't make it please let us know ASAP!)
