Lillian Axe with special guests LeftStronger
Lillian Axe is a rock/glam metal band founded in the late 1980's by lead guitarist, Steve Blaze. Poetic Justice was their most successful album, which hit the streets in January of 1992. Fueled by the hit single, "True Believer" and followed by their cover of the Badfinger classic, "No Matter What", Poetic Justice reached the upper 100 of the Billboard album charts. The band disbanded in 1995, and re-united in 1999. With a new lineup, featuring vocalist Derrick LeFevre, Lillian Axe is preparing to release their new CD "A Sad Day on Planet Earth" this summer!
Jesse Magee, now of LEFTSTRONGER was a member of a popular Baltimore band called Close To Normal as the lead singer/frontman and songwriter. LEFTSTRONGER is now in the studio working on an album and playing out with ALL extremely talented band mates Rob (guitar), Spencer (bass), and Karras (drums).
LeftStronger performs catchy rock songs that gets the crowds going crazy with energetic and melodic vocals. The talented band members, stage presence and ability to command the audience makes every show a must-see. The lyics and original music will rock you to your core!
Despite Jesse's personal challenges, including mild-moderate cerebral palsy on his right side, slight vision loss and learning issues, his talent speaks for itself and nothing will stand in his way of his success and being a role model for others.
