Kathleen Healy CD Release Concert
After over 2 years in the studio, we are pleased to announce that Kathleen Healy's CD entitled Spark is complete. Please join Kathleen and the talented musicians who collaborated with her on this project as we celebrate its release at the Harwich Junior Theatre, 105 Division Street, West Harwich, MA 02671 at 8:00 p.m.
Kathleen is a hard-working musician & songwriter living on Cape Cod. Kathleen writes from the heart and her honest lyrics and often poignant subject matter lend themselves to the unique quality of her voice. She admits to being a live music junkie but is currently not seeking treatment for her addiction.
She hosts weekly open mic nights at local venues and thoroughly enjoys supporting the live music scene on Cape Cod and collaborating with other local musicians. Kathleen has established a monthly singer/songwriter circle which has been visited by many of the Cape's established and upcoming original artists. She created the circle as a safe place for musicians to come and share new songs and works in progress and to give and get feedback from their peers. Many of the regulars to the circle describe the monthly gathering as "New Song Monday" and have told Kathleen it has been a great motivating tool in getting them to write new material.
Kathleen has appeared both as a solo performer and as a member of a folk quartet. She released her first CD entitled Crossing Lines in 2010 which contains a mix of original & cover tunes and was recorded live at O'Shea's Olde Inne in West Dennis. She also collaborated with visual artist Moira Swiatkowski in 2010 to publish her children's song entitled Clouds as an illustrated book and 12-song CD.

Due to Roe Osborn's high demand as a bass player, he will be unable to attend the release party. Sitting in for Roe on June 27th will be Matt Credit on upright bass.
Also joining in the fun on June 27 will be Frank Consiglio on Mandolin.

To my three amazing boys for their boundless energy. To my parents, Marion & Seamus Healy, for instilling a love of live music in me at an early age.
