Leaping Waters Farm Feast In the Field 2014
We are finally done with all the planning and are ready to start lighting the fires. Once again Leaping Waters Farm will have a slew of wonderful chefs cooking up some of the highest quality meats over open flames for you to enjoy. While you're
watching the spectacle you can sit and enjoy live music in the pasture while sipping on craft beer from Parkway Brewery or a wide selection of wines from our local favorites to some international prize winners. The kids and kids at heart can swim in the pond or ride ponies while the feast is being served. Come out and join us for another unforgettable event, we look forward to seeing you out in the fields!
Joining us this year to cook are Scott Drewno from The Source in Washington, Jason Alley from Pasture in Richmond and Charlottesville, Ben Nola from Daikaya in DC, Michael Sullivan from Cochon 555, Jeff Farmer from Lucky in Roanoke, Josh Lebreque from Rockfish Grill in Roanoke, Gabriel Averill from the Inn at Virginia Tech, and the crews from Rockfish, Local Roots and The Taphouse in Daleville.
We will have local bluegrass and old-time favorites Mountain Fling, the Band Concord from Blacksburg and a special guest will be performing live during the afternoon.
Please bring lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas, tents and whomever you like to help us celebrate living the good life!
