Films and filmmakers from around the world will be in Eugene to contribute to your love of the art, science and excitement of motion pictures. Meet the filmmakers and other special guests.
The Eugene International Film Festival is a boutique film market. There will be buyers and agents attending.
Regal Entertainment Group is providing multiple theaters for the festival at their Valley River Center location.
Eugene, Oregon is a city of the arts famous for its cultural events, educational opportunities, outdoor life and quality of living. The community has a long history of filmmaking, world-class soundstages, recording studios and industry professionals.
If fine dining makes your day you have classic film locations from which to choose. Consider doing lunch in the Eugene cafeteria where the famous "Animal House" food fight took place. Or, dine at the restaurant where Jack Nicholson's character in "Five Easy Pieces" tried to order "toast," an item not on the menu. He ended up ordering a chicken salad sandwich, asking the waitress to hold the chicken between her knees.
If fitness is your second passion after filmmaking, go for a run on the trails where Steve Prefontaine trained and set world records. "Without Limits" the story of Steve Prefontaine was filmed in Eugene.

ALL ACCESS ($75.00)-Includes admission to all films and workshops, except, the screenwriting retreat and other selected retreats. Also includes the Opening Party and Closing Awards Ceremony.
OPENING Party ($15.00)-A filmmakers party. Rub elbows with celebrities and other film notables.
CLOSING AWARDS CEREMONY ($25.00)-Experience the joy and triumph of independent filmmaking as these artists step into the spotlight to accept their awards. Special awards will be given to industry leaders.
SINGLE FILM BLOCK ($8.00)-Pressed for time? Just interested in a particular film, or films? Don't miss out. Come and experience the EIFF and see just one 60 to 90 minute showcase of films. Each film showcase may include one or more films. You won't regret it! Includes features, shorts and possible filmmaker Q&A.
SCREENWRITERS' RETREAT
October 8th with the Opening Party at 6pm, October 9th-6pm to 8pm, October 10th-9am to 12 noon and October 11th-9am to 12 noon. Also includes all films and the Closing Awards Ceremony. Everyone that registers also receives a free copy of Showbiz Producer from Showbiz Software, a value of $99. Learn from the best, including Tom Sawyer (Producer/Showrunner/Head Writer, "Murder, She Wrote") will teach you how to write movies that will grab and hold audiences! Hollywood literary agent Ken Sherman will be looking for exciting new talent at the Retreat! If you have a script worthy of a Hollywood agent, this is the Screenwriters' Retreat you must attend. Register in advance online for only $125 and students $100 The cost for registration on the day of the event increases to $150, students $125. Students must present current student ID.
