Grrrl Fest 2014

Grrrl Fest is a benefit celebrating young women in the arts. The Festival will take place on June 14, 2014 @ The Silent Barn located @ 603 Bushwick Ave, Brooklyn, NY. The Festival will start at 12pm and will run into the night. Tickets can be purchased in advance online @ $8.00 a piece. Guests can also purchase tickets for $10.00 at the door on the day of the event. All tickets include all day access to the benefit.
This event will help to raise money for arts education & various nonprofit organizations that are helping young women in NYC. Some of the organizations benefitting from this event are: The Willie Mae Rock Camp for Girls,The Center for Arts Education, CHiPS,The Beacon School,Bluestockings, Lower East Side Girls Club and more. Grrrl Fest will include many fun things throughout the day such as an opportunity to purchase art and writing made by young artists, a
Craft making workshop, Music, Dancing, Book/Art/Zine Sale,Button Making, Zine Workshop,Glitter Tattoos,Tarot Card Reading,Spoken Word,Phantasm Clothing, Palomino Jewelry ...and much, much more. This event will also include a Silent Auction with a portrait of "Keith Haring" made by artist, Shepard Fairey (made possible by The Keith Haring Foundation).
