I Love a Piano

Love a Piano is a "revusical" that follows the ownership of a piano from 1910 to present day through the songs of Irving Berlin. Ragtime, Prohibition, the Great Depression, the big band era of World War II, it's all here in a frolic of song, dance and comedy. Lines from more than 50 Berlin songs are heard, including Blue Skies, Puttin' on the Ritz, Always, Alexander's Ragtime Band, and songs from the movies Holiday Inn and White Christmas. The six characters play a multiple of roles: hiding booze in the piano, standing on the bread line, going to war, and dancing when the boys come home.
