Mercury Soul
Mezzanine San Francisco, CA
On May 28, orchestral musicians will crash the party at SF's hottest club, Mezzanine, to fuse two disparate genres of music: CLASSICAL & ELECTRONICA. After its sold-out debut at Mezzanine last year, Mercury Soul is back!
In between groovy DJ sets & live electronica performed by DJ Masonic (joined by David Arend on upright bass), Maestro Benjamin Shwartz of the San Francisco Symphony conducts gripping performances of Steve Reich, Luciano Berio, John Adams, and others. Threading together the entire evening is the beautiful visual touch of innovative stage designer Anne Patterson.
Last year's show sold out early, so don't miss this!
