Improvised Music Project IMPfest VI
UW's Improvised Music Project presents the sixth annual IMPfest! An innovative pairing of UW Jazz students and world-class guest artists, IMPfest is sure to provide music for any palette. As usual, each night of the festival will feature 1-2 exciting guests; but, this year's edition will see UW faculty Cuong Vu, Ted Poor, and Bill Frisell make nightly appearances with each featured artist. For IMPfest VI, we are pleased to announce our featured artists are: Billy Hart (drums), Ben Street (bass), Pete Rende (keyboards), and Holly Palmer (singer-songwriter)! Come see what surprises are in store with what promises to be an exciting weekend of collaboration and improvisation!
