Sonja Johansson is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner(cm) in private practice since 1999, a Bones For Life Teacher/Trainer, Pilates instructor and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer.
Sonja brings her years of experience in dance and theatre to all her teaching. She was introduced to Feldenkrais and Pilates over 20 years ago at drama college in Australia, and soon realized that Feldenkrais was a uniquely powerful method for improving peoples lives. She completed her Feldenkrais practitioner training in1999, and began a private practice and continues to work with some of the finest master teachers in the method.
Sonja uses principles from the Feldenkrais Method to inform her Pilates teaching as well as fitness training with groups and individuals. She is passionate about improving people's lives by imparting a greater awareness of their functional movement. She specializes in work with those recovering from injury, neurological issues, performing artists and seniors.
