In the tradition of Jodorowsky's Holy Mountain and all the way back to his "Panic" theater events, Emily Pope-Blackman's HYPOGEUM is a psychedelic blowout of performance installation that combines rock's pop culture with ritual...the underground with the underworld. Live theater and music is mixed with the inflammable pulse of the "awakened" dream. Special appearances by renowned musical acts from New York's Indie Rock scene, as well as video installations have a strong presence in HoverBound/EPB's HYPOGEUM.
