Meet Charter Bus at Bastyr Pkg Lot
Kenmore, WA

There will be two tours on Friday, Sept. 8, both leaving from and returning to Bastyr University north parking lot. The first one starts at 9 AM, includes lunch and ends 1:15 PM. Tour #2 starts at 1:30, will include a snack, and ends 5:45. The AM tour stops include Bob the House, Apex Coop and Songaia Cohousing Community. The PM tour includes Jackson Place Cohousing, Emma Goldman Finishing School, and Sunset House, part of Evergreen Land Trust.
The purpose of these tours is to acquaint participants with a variety of existing communities, to see how each of them define sustainability and livability; to offer comparisons on the diversity of systems and structures that will be seen; to provide an opportunity for Q&A; and to kick off a weekend full of learning about tools to build community and further sustainability wherever you live.

Note: The bus will leave promptly at 9 AM and 1:30 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes early to receive handouts and find a seat on the bus.
