Carry It Forward! Celebrate the Children of Resistance
"Carry it Forward: Celebrate the Children of Resistance", is a 90-minute video of the 60th anniversary theatrical event commemorating the execution of Ethel & Julius Rosenberg. Angela Davis narrates, and Eve Ensler & Cotter Smith read Ethel & Julius' prison letters. The video makes links with today's activism and includes poet Martin Espada and radical hip hop artists.
"Carry it Forward" will screen on Wednesday May 14, 7pm, at Berkeley City College, 2050 Center Street, in a benefit for the Middle East Children's Alliance & the Rosenberg Fund for Children.
