The Magic Rainforest: An Amazon Journey is a play about a young boy named Aki and his quest to become a warrior. However, when the fire demon threatens to destroy his village and the surrounding sacred forest, he departs on an adventure into a mystical world where each animal and plant has their own remarkable voice. Aki uncovers the truth about his past and amazing abilities to combat the fire demon, but is the fire demon really what it seems?
In this regional premiere by award winning playwright José Cruz González, Cara Mía Theatre Co. creates a tropical world with movement, light and sound to explore the magical connection we all have with nature.
The Magic Rainforest: An Amazon Journey is appropriate for all ages.
