Sunset Dinner at Sugarloaf

Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and delicious wines and meet some of the leaders from Team Sugarloaf, while Senior Park archeologist Breck Parkman shares the little-known history of Camp Butler.
Following drinks and appetizers, we'll be serving a delectable buffet of flame-roasted tri tip and lamb with garlic potatoes, grilled spring vegetables, fluffy french breads, crisp garden salads and fresh sliced fruit along side a roaring fire at the group campground.
During dessert, Caryl Hart will speak about the significance of the State Park system and its future.
At dusk, docents will guide you through the Robert Ferguson Observatory, where you'll be treated to spectacular views of the planets. *Rides to Camp Butler via our ATV will be available for those who need a bit of help to get there. Please let us know in advance.
Attire: Wine country casual with a cowboy touch. Walking shoes a must! (Please, no heels.) The walk to Camp Butler is along trail and fire road, so, repeat: be sure to wear appropriate walking shoes.)
