Saugatuck Green Food Bluegrass Festival
What happens when some of the Midwests most highly acclaimed bluegrass bands and local farmers offer up their talents in a spectacular outdoor setting? Find out at the first annual Saugatuck Green Food Bluegrass Festival at the Felt Mansion Estate in Laketown Township. Join us on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the Shore Acres Township Park, adjacent to the mansion, for a fiddling feast of food and a medley of music!
Headlining this event is a very special reunion performance by regional legend, Cabbage Crik. For those who experienced The Crik in its original form, you remember the energy of the great sounds and the huge crowds. If Cabbage Crik is yet unknown to you, this is a performance built upon 30 years of anticipation; do not let this rare opportunity pass you by.
The party will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19. The music lineup includes performances from some of the finest bands in Michigan bluegrass: Full Cord, Who Hit John?, Nobodys Darlin, Ruth and Max Bloomquist Band, Detour, and, of course, Cabbage Crik. Gates open at noon, so come on down and find a great spot in our beautiful park!
Sample a selection of locally grown food from the farmers of the West Michigan Coop and quench your summer thirst with a selection of Michigan beers and wines.
