The Belmont Transfer is High-Quality, Chicago-Style, Deep-Dish, Fast-Paced, In-Your-Face, Long-Form Improv. Chocked full of fearless players from every major Chicago Improv Theatre, these 6 year teammates bring big action and brave characters to life at your very suggestion. Cast: Dan Grimm, Dave Karasik, Leonardo Garcia, Peter Robards, Ryan Williams, Tina Jackson, Yvette Rebik Manick--Sonny and Cher. Donnie and Marie. Fey and Fallon. They're almost as dynamic as Amanda and Nick.
Manick, they're improvised two man show, is the longest running show at Dallas Comedy House. They like performing with each other a lot, and they'd love nothing more if you'd stop by for a show and a hug. Cast: Amanda Austin, Nick Scott Well Known Strangers (coached by Woody Drennan) began at Steel City Improv Theater and was the longest running House Team until they retired from Totally Free Mondays in September of 2013. Independently they produced a mini-web-series "WKS Radio" and a short film "Hunter Gathering," which won the Audience Choice Award in the 2013 Pittsburgh 48-Hour Film Project.
Well Known Strangers continue to perform in the Pittsburgh area and will begin hosting the Pittsburgh Improv Jam at The Cabaret at Theater Square in February of '14.
