West Coast premiere of newly written works for Mr. Assad including a sonata by Leo Brouwer, a fantasy by Seattle guitarist & composer Kevin Callahan and a suite by brother Sergio Assad.

ODAIR ASSAD has toured the world for over four decades with Sergio in the legendary ASSAD DUO.

Together they have set a new standard in classical guitar playing and have been described as the "best duo of their generation...perhaps of all of time". Their collaborations have included work with Dawn Upshaw,
Gideon Kremer, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Suarez Paz, The Turtle Island String Quartet and Grammy Award winning recordings with cellist, Yo Yo Ma.
