featuring,
MEAT KATIE - Lot49/Kingsize Records (UK)
35 year old South west londoner Mark Pember (AKA Meat Katie) has had long history in Dance music and in this time he has recorded for such prestigious labels such as Wall of Sound (as founding member of Ceasefire) and R&S Records (as Avenue A), not mention his first record deal, signed to Iggy Pop's Kill City Records (as a bass player in 3 piece skate punk band Sandladder), he has also remixed for Arthur Baker, U.N.K.L.E, Boy George, Deep Dish, Chicken Lips and Robbie Rivera, James Zabelia, to name but a few.
Mark has made a name for himself as one of the world's leading DJ/Producers. Those who have seen him DJ in the past 5 years will know that it is his diversity and energy that has earned him such respect. His tough, techy style, has seen him play sets across the globe alongside an eclectic group of DJs from Digitalism, Justice and Simian Mobile Disco, Soulwax and Erol Alkan, to Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, James Zabiela, Sasha, Carl Cox, and John Digweed, and not forgetting some of the world's top Breaks acts including the Plump DJ's and Stanton Warriors. He's supported live acts such as Chemical Brothers, Bassment Jaxx, Represent, and Infusion, and he even recently played on the Valve Soundsystem as one of the only non-Drum&Bass DJs ever to do so. Over the last year, Mark has also worked on an audio visual show along side VJ Anyone (rated No. 3 in the World) and together they have taken their unique show to clubs such as Fabric, Urban Gorilla, Technique and Festivals such as Glastonbury, Glade, Diverse Editions, with many more. Not satisfied with being a world class DJ/producer, Mark has found time to set up and run his own label with Dylan Rhymes (who he also shares a studio space with in London).
Lot 49 has without a doubt has sustained its reputation as being a taste-making label, with over 25 releases featuring artists such as, Vandal, 30Hz, D Ramirez, Elite Force, Dexter, Jono Fernandez, Lee Coombs, Marco Bailey, James Talk, Alex Metric, Lutzenkirchen, Evil 9 and obviously Meat Katie & Dylan Rhymes.

KID BLUE - Lot49/Dimebox (UK)
'Kid Blue sways between house, breaks and techno in an intelligent and considered way... He gives the crowd exactly what is needed to satiate their expectation of the night' DJ Magazine
DJ, producer and club promoter. It's not a combination that many can pull off with ease, but Kid Blue has done just that and been at the cutting edge of the UK club scene for nearly eight years.
He first came to attention as promoter and resident DJ at the legendary Technique night in Leeds, which spearheaded a new, open-minded approach to dance music, mixing genres and DJs together in a way few had before. Kid Blue was at the forefront of this, not only programming the night but mixing up house, breaks, techno and electro to a fiercely loyal and up for it crowd and playing alongside legendary names including Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Adam Freeland, Luke Vibert, DJ Rolando, Miss Kittin, David Holmes, Plaid and Meat Katie.
Moving to London in 2006 he soon gained a residency at Chew The Fat! at The End, rocking the main room every month until the last ever Fat! party before the legendary venue closed. 2006 also saw the release of his first single Nothing To Lose, picking up support from Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, Pete Tong, Annie Nightingale and many more DJs from across the dance music spectrum, in the process marking his arrival as a highly talented producer.
As one of the leading resident DJs in the country, it was also no surprise that Kid Blue soon found himself in demand both up and down the UK and internationally. Guest sets across Europe, the US, Middle East and even as far as Malawi kept him busy in 2007, and in summer 2008 he was resident at We Love, the infamous Sunday parties at Space in Ibiza.
With the end of Fat! at The End, the time was right to move on, and so the start of 2009 saw Kid Blue found promotions company Dimebox, establishing his own London-based night in conjunction with Meat Katie's Lot49 records called, simply, Lot49. Showcasing the deep, underground tech-funk sounds that are synonymous with his DJ sets, the first events have been road-blocksÂÂÂ "without doubt one of the best new additions to London clubbing" -(Spoonfed).
On the back of Indian Queens, his 2008 collaboration with Meat Katie for Lot49, he is now working on a new single for the label due for release in June 2009, and with a slew of remixes for Merka, Calvertron, Timo Garcia, Jeroen Van Anken, Brian Thomas and Zombie Outbreak scheduled for release throughout the first half of the year, there's plenty more to come from this kid.
