5th Annual Kalama Heritage Festival Makaha Sons Concert Luau

A Unique one of a kind Hawaiian and Native American Heritage Festival celebration, unique vendors, artists, entertainment, music, hula halau, South Pacific traditional dance & songs along with Native American Indians. Focus is to celebrate the blood-blended First Nations and Hawaiians who inhabited and co-habitated in America. The town of Kalama was named for John Kalama of Kula, Maui who arrived in the Pacific Northwest approx 1829, married an Indian chief's daughter Mary Martin and settled in this SW area of Washington. The river Kalama and Kalama Horse Camp was also named for him. The weekend events are free 10am -5pm. Saturday's luau begins at 5pm with Hawaiian entertainment Keahi Conjugacion and Cyril Pahinui and 7pm concert with the legendary Makaha Sons with admission of $50 concert and luau, $25 concert only.
Note: Evening Concert-luau ticket holders have premium seating. Concert is Festival seating. Evening concert may be breezy - bring warm clothes. Aug 29-30th 10am-5pm free festival
