Linden - Joe McAlinden, Marco Rea, Stuart Kidd & Eric Lindsay - will take to the stage to perform songs from acclaimed, Edwyn Collins produced, Bleached Highlights album and, for the first time, songs from forthcoming new LP which they are in the midst of recording this month on the shores of Loch Fyne in sunny Argyll. Inver Cottage will be serving up wonderful local produce from 6pm so get there early... It's gonna be a blast!

My name is Joe McAlinden I used to have a band called Superstar who were originally signed to Creation Records in 1992 by Alan McGee and, up until 2000, released around seven albums. I have played/written/collaborated with many people including Teenage Fanclub, Big Star/Alex Chilton, Rod Stewart, The Boy Hairdressers, NOM, BMX Bandits, Matthew Sweet, Jim Lambie, Alan Warner, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and lots more. I continue to write and record music from my wee studio up here in Argyll and have just released my new solo album, Bleached Highlights, on AED Records which was recorded at West Heath Yard, London with Edwyn Collins and Seb Lewsley.

THE WELLGREEN
The Wellgreen combine classic sixties songwriting, early powerpop and psychedelia on top of vintage recording techniques to create a familiar yet fresh & original sound.
Having toured extensively over the last 2 years supporting Euros Childs & Stevie Jackson (as well as providing drums, bass, guitar and harmonies for both on their respective sets & records), 2013 saw The Wellgreen release their second album, Grin And Bear It on their own label, The Barne Society.
ELI
Featuring the twin talents of Eric Lindsay and Lynnie Carson on vocals and guitar, Eli will be performing tracks from their debut album "Dreams are the Foundations of Reality" and a host of new material which explores further their melodic, country and 60s pop influenced, close-harmonied thang. Singing tales of post-modern dislocation, infidelity, loss and undying love, with their tongues only occasionally in their cheeks, this is an intimate look at the perplexities of the 21st Century.
