ACLU of Sonoma County 2014 Annual Awards Luncheon
ACLU of Sonoma County is holding the 2014 Annual Awards Luncheon on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 12:00-4:00 PM at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa, California.
Keynote Speaker Arnoldo Casillas, Attorney for family of Andy Lopez will be deliver keynote speech on the topic of "From Shield to Sword, the Constitution's Role in Police Misconduct Litigation."
Jack Green Civil Liberties Award honoree is Richard Coshnear of the Comité VIDA (Formerly Committee for Immigrant Rights of Sonoma County).
Mario Savio Student Activist Award honoree is Jesús Guzmán of the DREAM Alliance of Sonoma County.
Tessa D'Arcangelew of the ACLU of Northern California will give a presentation on the State of the ACLU.
Robert Edmonds will give an update on the Sonoma County Community and Local Law Enforcement Task Force.
There will also be the annual election of ACLU of Sonoma County board members.
