Alameda Science & Technology Institute Early College High School Legacy Gala Dinner & Auction
Alameda Science & Technology Institute Early College High School cordially invites you to join and celebrate its 10yr Anniversary during our Annual Legacy Gala Dinner & Auction: Honoring Our Journey, Celebrating a Decade of Excellence on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 6:00pm - 11:00pm at Elks Lodge-Alameda.
Enjoy an elegant evening of a Black & White themed gathering filled with delicious multi-cultural food, great company and great entertainment. Everyone is welcome to attend the gala.
Evening highlights will feature: fun-filled competitive Silent & Live Auction, presentation of Honorary Awards and Recognitions, Keynote speaker & honoree are Mr. Sean McPhetridge & Ms. Jennifer Ahn.
Wander the foyer area of Elks and look through the auction tables and bid on items during the pre-dinner reception. Live auction items are also available. Pacific Fine Foods will be providing a delicious multi-cultural buffet style dinner:
Kale Caesar Salad w/Shaved Parmesan Cheese, Garlic Croutons w/Grilled Shrimp & Homemade Caesar Dressing, Kale Caesar w/o Shrimp, Veggie Spring Rolls w/Sweet Chili Dipping, Red Rice Salad w/Rainbow Chard, Portobello Mushrooms, Pearl Onion & Peas w/Ginger-Soy Vinaigrette, Chimichurri Steak, Pineapple Jerk Chicken, Grilled Polenta w/Ratatouille. There will be wine, beer, cocktails available for purchase.
Tickets can be purchase online at this site or email an RSVP form to astilegacygala@gmail.com and send a check payable to: ASTI PTSA and mail it to ASTI 555 Atlantic Avenue Alameda, CA 94501.
Children of attendees(ages 5 - 12th grade)are welcome to join and attend Kids Fun Night which will be held onsite at the the Ratskellar Room of Elks Lodge. Adults must be attending the gala in order for the children to attend the Fun Night.
Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are still available, please contact us and so we send you the proper form. Donation items for the auction are still welcome until March 21st to be included on the auction catalog.
Proceeds from this event will aid the funds needed for:
- ASTI Community Garden project,
- ASTI Computer on Wheels project, which will provide mobile access to laptops and printers for innovative curriculum options in classrooms.
Funds generated will also allow us to continue our ongoing support programs and services: staff development, student enrichment, assemblies and field trips, SAT support, books, school site improvements, support for Robotics and other student clubs and activities and community building activities.
