Chocolate: Unwrapping Taste, Artisanship and Fair Trade

Theo Chocolate
Seattle, WA

Join us in welcoming the Kallari Co-Op for a presentation and chocolate tasting at Theo Chocolate. Theo produces premium organic and Fair Trade specialty chocolate. Our visitors are Kichwa indigenous people from Ecuador who have taken control of their future by sustainably growing and producing organic cacao. All the profits made through the cooperative go directly back to the community; resulting in heavenly dark chocolate that supports socio-economic rights for the Kichwa people.

Come see and hear Theo founder Joe Whinney, pioneer of the supply of organic cocoa beans into the United States, as well as members of the Kallari Co-Op and fellow Slow Food Seattleites, and tasting incredible chocolate from Theo, Ecuador and more!
