SONGS IN THE KEY OF LOVE with The Karin Plato Trio
Jazz vocalist & composer Karin Plato will be appearing at the Roedde House Museum Jazz concert series on Thursday, February 13th with pianist Miles Black and clarinetist James Danderfer.

The trio will perform a program of songs with the theme "Songs In The Key of Love", perfectly suited for Valentine's.

Karin has selected a collection of familiar jazz standards by composers including Cole Porter, Irving Berlin & George Gershwin as well as other songs from the world of folk and pop music composed about everyone's favorite topic for songs: LOVE!

Whether you are on a date or simply want to enjoy an intimate jazz and blues concert on your own, we think you will enjoy the musicality and camaraderie that Karin, James and Miles share together on stage.
You'll hear a variety of ballads, bossas, swing standards & the blues. Come celebrate Valentine's with us

Karin Plato grew up in Saskatchewan where she studied music at The University of Saskatchewan. She's lived in Vancouver since 1985 and has released 7 recordings of jazz standards and originals. She's a Juno Award nominee, a  West Coast Music Award nominee and was 3 times nominated Jazz Vocalist of the Year at the National Jazz Awards in Toronto. Karin has performed in cities and towns across Canada and in the USA .
