Orange County Klezmers, founded in 1998 by Barry Friedland, is a traditional Klezmer ensemble comprised of clarinet, violin, accordion and drums. Their music has been described as, "...haunting and happy and always has been able to put everyone in a jovial and fun mood."

What is Klezmer?
"Klezmer has been referred to as folk music, as theater music, as Jewish jazz. It is that enigmatic quality that has brought it to such prominence in the last decades of the 20th century. It is all things to all people, it crosses borders and boundaries, appeals to believers and non-believers alike, for reasons neither can share. Tickets $20 at the door, children 12 and under are admitted free, and free childcare is provided for children 6 and under. Free parking.
