Dramatist Overview - This show is not recommended for children:
"When CB's dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group's bullying, offers CB a peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that's both haunting and hopeful."

Utilizing iconic characters that we all know and love, our staging aims to push the boundaries of social identification. Through CB's existential journey, we put the audience back into the uncomfortable stage of teenage adolescence. Realistic dialogue, circumstances and peer pressure, forces audience members to revisit the awkward phases of figuring out who they are and who they want to be vs. who everyone else tells them they should be. We're not all "written" to be a certain way. Our production challenges what others think of us in an effort to be the best version of ourselves, even in the face of adversity, all in an attempt to become a little less... predictable.
Our Mission:
Our goal is to bring awareness to the current epidemic of bullying, hate crimes and suicide that is running rampant amongst young people. In addition to other fundraising opportunities, if we meet our fundraising goal we will be able to donate an entire night's worth of ticket profits to Bully-Free Florida Network. Fundraising and awareness efforts to support this cause will be intertwined with our show.
We are a local production, striving to provide community art and entertainment that has a heart and a message. We showcase talented young people aspiring to follow their dreams through the performing arts.
