A Conversation with Bill Ayers & Bernadine Dohrn
Bill Ayers & Bernardine Dohrn are former leaders of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Weather Underground. Both continue to be social justice activists; Bill is an educator and author, and Bernadine directs the Children and Family Justice Center in Chicago.
They co-authored a book, RACE COURSE: Against White Supremacy, and Bill just re-released his memoir, FUGITIVE DAYS: Memoirs of an Anti-War Activist. The late journalist Studs Terkel called this book "a deeply-moving elegy to all those young dreamers who tried to live decently in an indecent world."
Ayers and Dorhn will sign these books at the event.
