Dragon Training: Learn to Eat, Breathe, & Play with Fire
Welcome to Dragon Training! A workshop for fire virgins & experienced performers alike. Our motto, Learn Not Burn. Students learn fire safety, the difference between fuels, techniques on taming the flame, and NEW tricks every workshop.
Drop ins welcome. 18+ only. Register in advance to guarantee spot.
Fire Eating: Learn breath control, how to extinguish torches in your mouth, teeth holds, and techniques to transfer the flame by mouth and hand.
Fire Fleshing: Learn how to draw and transfer fire along skin. Shaving body hair from arms on both sides highly suggested. Fire Breathing: Learn to create a fireballs by breathing a fine mist of fuel over an open flame. Limited to no facial hair highly suggested.
Fire Safety: Learn the difference between fuels, how to safely extinguish props, and how to protect yourself and the audience/venue from light ups.
What to Wear: Form fitting cotton based clothing & a bandana to cover hair highly suggested. Class is held outside.
What to not Wear: Perfume, hairspray, & body oils.
Workshop Length: 2 Hours
About the Instructor: Crystal Cruz, stage name Madam C, is the Director of Provocatease, & Founder of House of Cirque and it's performance companies Bad Monkey Gang, Sky Kissers, & Monkey Business Cabaret. With over 20 years in the arts, Madam C is a full time performer & offers instruction in fire arts, dance, and circus arts.
