DAVID BRENNAN QUARTET
To give a brief summary, my quartet (sax and rhythm section) will play some straight ahead, standard tunes. We will also be premiering some music that I am writing for the occasion. The first performance of this music will be that night. As for the surprise ensemble, it will be a saxophone quartet (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone) playing jazz with the rhythm section. If you would like to spin it as the first performance of a new jazz ensemble, that would be cool with me.
