Cirque Roots presents a theatrical fire experience called "The Conscience of Love." Join us as we journey to the center of our Hearts, where we embrace the voice resonating inside all of us and the essence of our existence, LOVE.
This 45-minute collaborative performance speaks through movement, circus, and sound. With 17 talented artists expressing acts of love that interpret the feelings and actions of our own conscience through ritualistic fire performances, partner acrobatics, belly dancing, and stilt acrobatics with live electronic sounds by Unanimity.
One night only! Experience this live fire show under the full moon at the Tucson Museum of Art. We'll keep you cozy with portable heaters, warm drinks, tasty sweets, and highly fueled entertainment!
Cirque Roots is a grassroots artist collective that was founded in 2011 with a vision to inspire the community to create and play through movement and dance. Cirque Roots is based in an 1910s warehouse in downtown Tucson in the Toole Avenue Arts District where they have been holding space for the community to engage in circus inspired arts and to co- create in the community through conscious events and workshops. The Cirque Roots performance crew has been performing collectively over the past four years together. They're a unique tribe of artists that vary in aerial, partner acrobatics, stilt dance and acrobatics, fire dancing, belly dancing and other varied flow arts.
