Lava City Roller Dolls vs. Rainy City Roller Dolls
This year, The Lava City Roller Dolls (LCRD) will thrill their fans with action packed bouts throughout 2009. The Dolls are guaranteed to bring you an action packed, hard hitting evening of Womens Flat Track Roller Derby (WFTDA) the entire family can enjoy! This is not your grandparents Roller Derby. The Lava City Roller Dolls are part of a National Movement to reinvent the Sport of Roller Derby and bring it to a national audience. During the 2008, The All Star Smokin Ashes took on sister WFTDA leagues from Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Nevada and California. The Dolls had a winning 2008 Season ending the year with a 7-5 record. The Smokin Ashes took on teams both home and away representing Bend throughout the West. In addition, 2008 saw the introduction of Lava City s newest team the Cinder Kittens who got a chance to cut their teeth and sharpen their claws against some worthy foes. The Lava City Roller Dolls would like to thank the generous support of our sponsors, fans, and volunteers for making 2008 a very successful year!

BOUT DETAILS:
Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at the Central Oregon Indoor Sports Center located at 20795 High Desert Lane, Bend
Doors open at 5:00 pm. Bout starts promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Advance Tickets for this event will be available on-line at www.lavacityrollerdolls.com.
Price: $10 advanced, $12 at the door, $6 seniors and children under 12, Kids 5 and under get in FREE!
About the Lava City Roller Dolls:
The Lava City Roller Dolls, is Bends first Roller Derby League. LCRD was established in February of 2006. The League is comprised of 40+ members/owners. We pride ourselves on sportswomanship, teamwork, community involvement and promoting the sport of Womens Flat Track Roller Derby (WFTDA). Our goal is to become members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association "WFTDA" and represent Bend, Oregon by competing at the National level.
