**EVENT DESCRIPTION**
December is that time of the year when we all want to take a break, look around for friends and family, be grateful for what we have and celebrate the circle renewing itself. Even in the Bay Area, where Winter merely winks, we want to love and be loved. Most of us wish to have a special someone to end the year and step into the new one with - in hope and joy.
But tired of online dating? Looking for other ways to find connections that can be deep and meaningful? Bar and dancing scene too over whelming? Want to start slow and get to know people? Not sure about dating but want to connect with kindred spirits and see what happens? You are invited to an easy, fun, simple yet meaningful speed connect event for women looking for authentic connections with other women, be it for long term partnership, casual affairs or deep friendships leading to who knows what! Dance (and flirt?) simple steps and engage in short one-on-one conversations prompted by meaningful questions, with as many women as you can "connect" in 3 hours. Confidentially select those you'd like to see again, and be notified of those who feel the same way about you!
NO DANCING EXPERIENCE NEEDED. WE WILL TEACH YOU. IT'S GONNA BE VERY SIMPLE! AND MAYBE YOU WILL LEARN SOME NEW WAYS TO ENJOY YOURSELF TOO.
**FACILITATORS**
This uniquely designed event is focused on providing ways in which women can find other women with whom they have authentic and deep mind and body connection. It will be facilitated by Roke Noir and Zoe Balfour.
About Roke: Roke is a professional life and relationship coach + diversity ambassador + mental wellness advocate and community organiser. Her focus is teaching how to face ourselves - be aware of one's true self, affirm those we are happy about and learn and grow being challenged by by the ones we don't. More @ www.rokenoir.com
About Zoe: Zoe is a professional dance teacher who has been running regular partner dancing classes, parties, formation teams and taking queer groups to compete at national and international dance competitions for 12 years in the Bay Area. She combines her knowledge of energy work, body work, alternative medicine and dancing to help her students grow in ways more than one. More @ www.tripthelightfantastic.org
This will be Roke's 12th Speed Dating/Connecting event over the last 3 years, each being fully booked. Her style is that of connecting the participants with each other through focused face to face interactions prompted by insightful questions that lead to understanding and choices guided by intuition and instinct.
THIS TIME Roke is partnering up with Zoe, to create an event that combines DANCE and DIALOGUE. This will allow you to interpret your connection with another person not just through exchange of the words but also from the felt sense of your body as you dance simple steps with her. Both Roke and Zoe are students of "Personal Energy Study" which will be hold the overall flow of the event towards creating a safe, easy, fun, respectful, joyful and authentic space.

- Matches will be sent within 24 hours.
- Doors open AT 7:00 pm
- Event Starts at 7:15 PM and Ends at 10:15 pm
- Please answer all questions during registration. These answers will be shared with others.
- Dress to impress and in layers. You might feel warm while dancing and cold when not.
- Please wear comfortable shoes you can dance in.
