Civil war has finally ended on the planet of Cumber. The victorious Mon Beth is returning home to celebrate his army's triumph against the Weyan Invaders. However, there is a dark power at work and forces unlike anything Mon Beth has previously faced are beginning to stir. It is the dark witches that render up an impossible prophecy that against all odds and his low station, Mon Beth will arise to the power of King over Cumber. Driven by this sight into the future and by his wife's ravenous hunger for power, Mon Beth seeks to bring this declaration to fruition, showing no mercy to those that stand between him and the throne.
This is Shakespeare unlike you've ever seen it before! With a cast of professional actors and fight combatants, "MacSith" is an experience you do not want to miss. Condensed to a 70 minute long performance, but remaining true to the Bard's original work, this is a show that will satisfy both the Shakespeare-fanatic and the Shakespeare-novice. And while a previous knowledge of the Star Wars universe is not required for the enjoyment of the story, those that consider themselves amongst the nerd-elite will not be disappointed by the depth of thought and backstory that has gone into this production.
However, though this is a Star Wars/Shakespeare mash-up, it's not a parody nor a farce. With fight choreography by professional fight director Orion Couling, your heart will be pounding and your breath will be held with every snap-hiss of an engaged lightsaber as a life or death struggle ensues that will leave very few left standing in the end. The destruction and bloodbath of even the most innocent that MacSith leaves in his wake will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. And with a cast of powerful actors, you will be engaged from the first moment the lights come up to the final cue as they come down.
