March 26, 2009 (Thursday):
Doors open at 5:45 with Chinese food served. This is followed by cultural entertainment and the showing of Baseball Boys at 7:00.
Movie Synopsis:
Nanhe Youth Baseball Team had just lost their game in an invitation tournament, and the top player nicknamed Master got blamed by his teammates. But a bigger shock awaited them back home their baseball field had been rented out and turned into a soccer field by an entrepreneur, who as a huge soccer fan. Worst yet, the entrepreneur was Masters father who had never approved of Master playing baseball in the first place.
The baseball boys had their eyes on the upcoming National Tournament, and dreamed about advancing into the Asian Tournament and even the unthinkable 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, but they couldnt even keep their home plate.
