Red Bull Music Academy Club Tour: Lunice, Rockie Fresh, B.Bravo
The Red Bull Music Academy is a global series of music workshops and festivals: a platform for those who make a difference in today's musical landscape. This November, Red Bull Music Academy will bring its unique perspective to San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Honolulu with a four-date club tour featuring some of the most buzzed about up-and-coming names in trap and hip-hop. Artists taking the stage include 2010 Red Bull Music Academy graduate Lunice and Chicago-based rapper Rockie Fresh who will be joined by future funk visionary and fellow Academy graduate B. Bravo.

Lunice has become somewhat of a household name around the world as one half of TNGHT (with fellow Red Bull Music Academy grad Hudson Mohawke). Born and raised in Montreal, the Canadian producer / DJ has always been a disciple of hip-hop. Coming up on breakbeats and having taken a stab at nearly all elements, from graffiti to beatboxing, Lunice cut his teeth as a b-boy while perfecting his sense of rhythm and ear for music before hitting the decks and making original beats. Now, Lunice is an international sensation, overthrowing dance floors everywhere he goes with his unique style a perfect fusion of traditional and new outlook trap production. With a handful of other peers, he is crafting a powerful new lane in music with bigger and bolder visions for hip-hop production.
Rockie Fresh enters the equation as a fast rising, Chicago-bred rap star, whose recent collaborations with Lunice make this tour pairing all the more perfect. As a recent signing to Rick Ross' inimitable Maybach Music Group imprint, the just 22-year-old artist incorporates electronic influences and deep urban undertones into his potent bars, solidifying his position as a key piece in the not-too-distant future of the hip-hop landscape. He will be performing solo on this tour, as well as joining Lunice to perform a selection of their collaborations. Recent collaborations between Lunice and Rockie Fresh include Panera Bread and Superman OG.
Having graduated from the London Red Bull Music Academy alongside Lunice in 2010, San Francisco's own future funk visionary, B. Bravo, will round out the bill each night, playing a DJ set featuring his impeccable taste in selection. B. Bravo brings to the table a vetted funk sound, having released on labels such as Ernest Endeavors and as a founding member of fellow Academy alum Salva's Frite Nite imprint. Expect a diverse set of original production and classic jams from boogie to bass to new funk each evening to set the vibe.
