Nick & Andy's Cowbell Ringer (birthday partyyyy)
<<<You can check this page and facebook for updates>>>
Well, tickets are rolling in and it looks like we're going to sell out. Great news. But also means we need to manage the buses going from SF to Berkeley. Our top priority is YOU. Which means we want you to get to the party with no hassle.
Buses are picking up from Bloodhound Bar in San Francisco (1145 Folsom St., SF) at 9pm & 10pm. This totals at 75 people being transported. If we need more, we can try and pay more. But what we ask of you:
----be at the bar at 8:45pm!---
There are two great bars here (and a liquor store!) and so if you don't get on the first bus: a. you're still at a great bar and it's Friday! and b. you can be first on the list to get on the second bus.
We'll be at the venue in communication to make sure everyone gets to the party. But we'd also like to remind you that there is plenty of parking for responsible drivers and BART gets ya there as well.
and as a continued update...
we'll be joined by some new friends because the place was double booked. but with lemons, we will make Arnold Palmers and roll with it.

+++bring the cowbell+++
So, I visited the warehouse a couple nights ago and my jaw dropped. I've seen some pretty gnarly places in my life and this one is unique, to say the least. Even if you don't plan on coming, or you already bought a ticket, you all are (very) cool and would likely want to hear about this crazy place.
So here's the story:
A few Berkeley high school students from the 60's stuck around Berkeley and started buying buses to refurbish to take out to Reggae on the River and other neato destinations of the like. Eventually they bought a gigantic two-part bus (1/60 in the world) and needed a warehouse to park it in. So they bought this one. Over the last decade they've made this stationary bus into a museum of local art with surround sound, plasma TV's, lounges, etc.
After that they realized they could flip this warehouse into something special as well. So now they have a bohemian-style party spot with 3 lounges, a balcony, and a music venue all built inside...not to mention a $15k sound system that can fit 200+ folks.
We've purchased the place for the evening and frankly I don't give two canaries whether we have 100+ or not but more so that the folks in the building are bringing the 'cowbell'. That's to say, we want quality folks in hopes to make this a repeatable and reputable occasion.
feel free to invite your cronies...
