Event

West Coast Live: October 17th
Join us for a special evening recording, 6:30-9pm at The Marsh at 2120 Allston Way in downtown Berkeley, just one block from BART. SEDGE welcomes:

SCOTT ADAMS, creator of Dilbert, one of the most popular and widely distributed comic strips of the past quarter century, with his new book How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: Kind of the Story of My Life.

BETH LISICK, the writer and performer stops by to talk about some of her most embarrassing and regretful moments, documented in her new collection Yokohama Threeway and Other Small Shames.

EDWARD FRENKEL, Professor of Mathematics at UC Berkeley brings us his fascinating new book Love & Math: The Heart of Hidden Reality.

DENNNIS McFARLAND brings us Nostalgia, a Civil War-era novel that explores the consequences of a decision to enlist in the Union army for a young man of nineteen.

MELODY WALKER & JACOB GROOPMAN bring us some of the fresh Ameri-cali goodness from their brand new album produced by Laurie Lewis, We Made It Home.

DEBBIE NEIGHER gives us a taste of the rich, piano-driven set of original songs on her critically-acclaimed sophomore album Unravel.

MIKE GREENSILL on piano, and More!
