AUNTIE MAME (1958)
Always armed with a colorful dress and an acerbic quip, the flamboyant, vibrant Mame Dennis (played by the incomparable Rosalind Russell) is an unconventional socialite from the roaring 20s. When her brother dies, her young orphaned nephew Patrick lands on her Beekman Place doorstep in the midst of a madcap partyand its love at first sight. Mame battles the stuffy conservatives in Patricks life and teaches him that Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!
