New York Musical Improv Festival: Improvised Sondheim Project with The LuPones

Based on a single suggestion from the audience The LuPones create a musical Harold full of big group numbers, thrilling harmonies, and hilarious comedy. Based out of Chicago, Illinois, the Improvised Sondheim Project performs completely improvised musicals in the style of Stephen Sondheim. No scripts. No sheet music. No pre-planning. Just a suggestion from the audience and the muse of Mr. Sondheim to guide them as they make up a brand new musical each night right before your eyes. Comprised of veteran music improvisors, the Improvised Sondheim Project sold out its show at Chicago Improv Festival in April and its 5-week run at Stage 773 in May.
