Stars & Garters: A Doctor Who Burlesque - The Who-lidays Edition!
Tis the Season for some Who-lly Jolly Times! Deck the TARDIS with boughs of Holly, Fa-la-la-la-la La-la-la ALLONS-Y!
Busts & Trunks, the Burlesque division of Ocelot on a Leash Theater Company, is thrilled to present "Stars & Garters: a Doctor Who Burlesque Experience, the Who-liday Edition". Please join Busts & Trunks, artists in residence at the Trestle Inn, for our constantly evolving Doctor Who themed show on December 11th at the Trestle Inn at 8 PM for what promises to be the most Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey evening this side of the TARDIS doors.
Our show will feature Casanova Chaos, Rita Action, "Ace"merelda Spade, Freyja Kanina, Scarlett Simone, and Eris T. Vayle as the sexy, sultry, sonic members of the Doctor's enclave throughout the years. "Stars & Garters" is designed to be both New-to-Who and Hardcore Whovian friendly, so burlesque enthusiasts, fangirls and boys, cosplayers, LARP-ers, nerds, geeks, freaks, sci-fi aficionados, Timelords and aspiring companions are all welcome. Bring your bawdy friends! Come join us as we channel the TARDIS, touch the Time Vortex, exit the Pandorica, and confront the Daleks. You might even meet a Doctor or two. Please be warned SPOILERS! "Stars & Garters" will include plot points up to and including BBC Season 6. Make sure you're caught up, unless you like peeking into River's little blue book.
For returning audience members: This edition of the show will feature new acts featuring many of the Doctor Who Holiday Specials. Look out for Evil Snowmen, Psychokiller Christmas Trees, and some special Christmas Companions.
Please note: Burlesque involves partial nudity. We love when our audiences encourage us with hoots and hollers, laughter, cheering, and whistling!
