Waypoint presents both family classics with one intermission (total running time: 2 hours). Seating is theatre "U" shaped (no tables). THE GIFT OF THE MAGI adapted by Jon Jory from the O. Henry Christmas story- Della and Jim await their first Christmas together as a married couple. But it's 1905 and times are hard. In a strange twist of fate, they find the perfect gifts for each other--but at an unexpected cost in this tender-hearted adaptation of O. Henry's classic Christmas story brimming with sing-along carols of the season.

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY adapted to the stage by Joe Landry from the Frank Capra movie
The story of everyman George Bailey comes to life as a live 1940s radio show based on Capra's movie starring Jimmy Stewart, Lionel Barrymore and Donna Reed. Enjoy a plethora of Foley sound effects come alive before your eyes as a small, talented ensemble bring 44 colorful characters to life in this beloved Christmas classic.
This piece will be broadcast on KGMS 940AM Radio on Sunday, December 22, 7-8pm. (running time: 50 min)

PERFORMANCE VENUE
Waypoint's new venue is the historic Scottish Rite Cathedral, 160 South Scott Avenue (downtown, east of Stone and south of Broadway). This particular show will be presented in the beautiful and intimate candlelit Campbell Room with immediate elevator wheelchair access to the room from off Ochoa or enter off of Scott Avenue, up the stairs and to your right.
FREE EVENT PARKING featuring event security and lit lots
There is free parking on the both North and South parking lots at SRC. Those with walking/wheelchair disabilities are encouraged to park in the NORTH, handicapped parking lot. Additional parking is steps away at La Placita Parking Garage off Stone. Park in the third level.
