Guerneville, CA. She's back! Get ready to be titillated and terrorized, struck with horror yet irresistibly drawn to Chamber of Horrors Bingo! The Return of Ida Claire benefitting the Sisters' Grants Fund and Chamber of Commerce community event funds. For the first time ever, the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Russian River Chamber of Commerce will present a horrifying collaborative effort heralding appearance of the apparition known as Sister Ida Claire (emeritus) of the Russian River Sisters on Saturday October 26th at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Guerneville.
Emeritus Sister Ida, loved for her long-drawn southern vowels and outrageous attire, retired from the order several years ago and Chamber of Horrors will be her first manifestation since entering retirement. The Russian River Sisters Choir will perform a number and Chamber members are practicing their scales for a Zombie Sing-Along. Players who come to the bingo dressed in a costume related to the "Chamber of Horrors" theme will receive five FREE raffle tickets and will be invited to participate in the costume contest for other fabulous prizes.
The Russian River Sisters are a 21st Century Order of Nuns. Their mission is to spread joy and goodwill through community events, charitable acts and fundraising, with focus on the special needs of the Russian River area, and they are also busily at work in safer sex education efforts, political and socioeconomic awareness and community building efforts. The Chamber of Horrors Bingo will generate funds for the Sisters Grants Fund and Chamber of Commerce community event funds, namely the Holiday Parade of Lights and the Stumptown Daze Parade.
The Russian River Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization with approximately 270 member businesses. Ranging in size from the smaller micro-business to mid-size firms to large international companies, they represent every industry sector and all areas of Western Sonoma County. The Chamber would like to thank Sister Ida for coming out of retirement for the event, and the Russian River Rotary Foundation and Community First Credit Union for their table sponsorships.
The cost is $25 for entry for one person, two bingo card packs and five raffle tickets. (Each card pack includes one card for each of the seven games.) Extra bingo cards ($5 per book) and extra raffle tickets ($1 each) will be available for purchase at the door. Reserved tables for ten are $300 per reserved table. The $500 sponsor tables with nibblies provided by Ono'z are sold out. Dinner & snacks will be available through the dining concession.
Tickets are on sale at the Chamber of Commerce office and online through Brown Paper Tickets by following this link: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/483383 . Players must be over the age of 18. No alcohol is permitted in the bingo hall.

If you violate either of these rules, you will be asked to leave and not issued a refund.

Pre-sold ticket holders will be admitted starting at 5:30pm, and must arrive no later than 6:30pm.
After 6:30pm, advanced purchase ticket holders will continue to be admitted preferentially as long as there is room in the Hall. However, unclaimed seats may be re-sold to people in the regular waiting line.
Failure to arrive on time does not qualify you for a refund.
Entry is on a first come, first seated basis. There are no reserving or saving of seats allowed.
Refunds for advanced purchase tickets are available within 12 hours of the initial purchase time/date and on a case-by-case basis only after that time. The RR Sisters cannot issue refunds, you must contact Brown Paper Tickets directly to discuss refunds.
Online Ticket Sales will automatically be cut off at 11:30pm on the night before Bingo OR when they sell out. After that time, you will be required to purchase tickets at the door, starting at 6pm. The line to purchase tickets at the door forms early in the afternoon.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, at the sole discretion of the members of the Russian River Sisters, Inc. By attending this event, you give consent for any video and audio recording that may take place.
