Fri, 10/25: Mark Simon Quintet - Mark Simon Quintet puts a focus on the talents of two local saxophone giants; Rob Davis and Devin Phillips. This band explores the compositions and arrangements of award winning pianist/composer Mark Simon as a vehicle for the group's unique sound. The musical empathy of the rhythm section (Chris Higgins - bass, Larry Bard - drums and pianist Mark Simon) provide the band with a mature and honest foundation upon which sax masters Rob and Devin can use to their advantage, while spurring each other to new heights. Join us for an evening of creative music performed by expert craftsmen! You will be glad you did! 8pm - $10.
