Hold Me Tight
Thousands of couples have been helped by the Emotionally Focused Therapy approach, developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. This approach to couples is evidence-based, nonjudgmental and effective. The Hold Me Tight seminar is based on Sue Johnson's book, Hold Me Tight.
This evidence-based seminar will help you: Describe and control negative cycles in your relationship Affirm your individual needs for closeness and safety Creative positive experiences of reaching for one another to create a secure bond.
Through couples exercises, videos, and group presentations you will learn new ways of growing your relationship.
Our experience is that this seminar will be helpful for all types of couples, regardless of how long they have been together. People of all sexual orientations will resonate with the conversations and exercises in this Hold Me Tight seminar.
Seminar leaders are G. Dorsey Green, PhD and Susan Raab-Cohen, PhD. Both are licensed psychologists and have been in independent practice for over thirty years. Both are EFT-Advanced therapists and have been trainers in a variety of areas. Dorsey and her partner have been together for 18 years and are currently legal Domestic Partners. Susan and her husband have been married for 27 years. Both of them are parents, stepparents and grandmothers.
