About the Panelists:
Harry Ralston "Bud" Black is a former Major League Baseball left-handed pitcher and current manager of the San Diego Padres. Black spent seven years as the pitching coach for the Angels and helped the Angels win their first World Series title in 2002. Black pitched for 15 years in the major leagues, with a 121-116 record and a 3.84 ERA in 398 games.
Christopher Ryan Young is an American professional baseball right-handed pitcher, who is currently playing for the Washington Nationals' Triple-A affiliate Syracuse Nationals. He made his major league debut on August 24, 2004, for the Texas Rangers and within two seasons, was traded to the San Diego Padres. After a high school career as an athlete and scholar, Young excelled in both baseball and basketball for Princeton University and became the Ivy League's first male two-sport Rookie of the Year. He was elected to the 2007 MLB All-Star Game.
Kevin O'Malley, the son of former Dodgers owner, Peter O'Malley, became co-owner of the San Diego Padres in August 2012. While attending the University of Pennsylvania, O'Malley played baseball for three seasons, primarily as catcher.
