Mayor Nickels has proclaimed November 7th as FRANCES FARMER DAY in Seattle. Come celebrate the life of Seattle born Actress Frances Farmer in a two day event presented by West Seattle's Historic Admiral Theater.
Come dressed to impress (30's style) for our elegant first night, featuring a cocktail reception and a 72nd Anniversary showing of the award winning classic "Come and Get It". The evening also includes a presentation of "The Bad Girl of West Seattle" by local historian Peder Nelson.
Saturday features the family friendly matinee "Rhythm on the Range" co-starring Bing Crosby, culminating that evening with Jessica Langes academy award-nominated performance in the critically acclaimed movie, Frances.
Join us later for an after party @ Shadowland Restaurant, in the West Seattle Junction.
