| Description |
On Sunday, October 26, 2007, The Hudson Valley Horrors will host their final
roller derby game of the season against the Empire Skate Troopers of Albany.
The Horrors have won all home games this season and plan on keeping it that
way.
This is the first match up against the Troopers for the Horrors and
animosity should run high. In the fall of 2006, several members of the
Troopers split off of the Horrors to start their own league closer to home
in Albany. Now the time has come to release their aggression and let them at
it.
This home bout is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Hyde Park Roller
Magic, 4178 Albany Post Road / Rt. 9, Hyde Park, NY. Doors open at 6:00 pm,
whistle at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00 in advance for general and suicide
seating, $15 at the door, $20 for VIP and photographers get in for $7 with
signed photo release. Pre-game and halftime entertainment will be provided
by Pitchfork Militia, fans are encouraged to join the post-derby festivities
at Darby O'Gill's on rt. 9 in Hyde Park.
